Joey Ortega is a veteran writer, producer, and creative consultant with extensive experience in television production and game show development. His career highlights include leaving his mark on several high-profile game show reboots including Double Dare, The Chase, and Hollywood Squares. Joey has contributed to other successful reality-competition series including Floor is Lava, Wonka: The Golden Ticket, Fear Factor: House of Fear, and The Challenge.
Joey has a strong background in development, previously serving as Manager of Development for Howie Mandel's Alevy Productions and for Ryan Seacrest Productions. When he's not producing or developing game shows, Joey is currently teaching them as an adjunct professor for Cal State Los Angeles and their groundbreaking first-of-its-kind game show curriculum.
